Hyderabad youth beheads friend who texted his girlfriend, rips out heart, chops private parts: Report
Hyderabad: A 22-year-old man in Hyderabad murdered his friend and dismembered the body for messaging and speaking to his girlfriend, media reports said citing police sources.
The accused allegedly beheaded the victim, ripped out his friend's heart, and chopped his private parts, police said, news agency ANI reported.
Police recovered the body and sent it to a local government hospital for forensic investigation. A case has been filed against the accused and a detailed investigation has been initiated.
Naveen and Harihara Krishna studied in the same college as the girl. Although Naveen confessed his love first and began a relationship with her, the couple eventually separated after a few years. Subsequently, the girl entered into a relationship with Harihara Krishna, who had also expressed his love for her, police told ANI.
Despite the breakup, Naveen constantly messaged and made calls to the girl, which greatly upset Harihara Krishna.
On February 17, the two men met and soon got into a physical altercation over the ongoing communication between Naveen and the girl, and Krishna allegedly killed Naveen.
"The accused allegedly took pictures and sent them to his girlfriend on WhatsApp," the police said, according to ANI.
