Maharashtra: Three murdered in Jalgaon
Three people, including two brothers, were allegedly murdered and two others injured at two different places in Kandari village near Bhusawal city of Jalgaon district.
In an incident that occurred on Saturday, one Nikhil Suresh Rajput (35, resident of Shriram Nagar area of the market) was brutally murdered.
Nikhil, a convicted felon on police record, was killed by a young man who allegedly slit his throat while he was sleeping on the municipal water tank in Shriram Nagar area, creating an atmosphere of fear in the area.
In another incident, two brothers were killed after being attacked by some unidentified persons with a sword and a knife, while other two were seriously injured on Friday night.
The duo of Rakesh Salunkhe and Shantaram Salunkhe died on the spot.
Following these incidents, senior police officers are camping in Bhusawal, sources added.
