Narendra Modi, Albanese discuss ways to strengthen India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership
Indian PM Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese recently held the India-Australia Annual Summit on the sidelines of the G20 Summit when they reaffirmed their support for strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
The two leaders discussed cooperation in the areas of defence and security, trade and investments, education, skills and mobility, renewable energy, space, sports and people-to-people ties.
The Prime Ministers also welcomed the launch of the Renewable Energy Partnership, read a statement issued by the Indian government.
Both sides also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
"They also reiterated their commitment for a peaceful, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific Region, based on respect for international law," read the government statement.
