The course- dubbed as Tufat al-Muminat- is launched for the funds and recruitment.

UN-designated JeM is collecting 500 PKR from every woman who is signing up for the course.

'Lectures', which will be delivered by women family members of Jaish leaders, will last 40 minutes per day and be led by Azhar's two sisters, Sadiya Azhar and Samaira Azhar, whose classes will 'encourage' women to join the Jamat ul-Muminat, the news channel reported.

JeM chief Masood Azhar's two sisters, Sadiya and Samaira, will spearhead the classes.

Sadiya's husband and JeM commander Yusuf Azhar was killed during Operation Sindoor, which was conducted by the Indian Armed Forces to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

Masood's several family members were killed in Operation Sindoor, which was conducted on the intervening night of May 6 and May 7.

Other lecturers include Afreera Farooq, the wife of the conspirator of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, Umar Farooq.

According to reports, the online recruitment drive will begin on November 8.

As per a report by Hindustan Times, people who are closely following JeM's activities said the terror outfit is focussing recruitment efforts on wives of its commanders and economically weaker women who are currently studying at its centres.

Reports also say the terror group started the online courses given the country's conservative social norms that discourage women to go out alone.
