West Bengal minister Sujit Bose raided by ED in civic body recruitment scam
Kolkata/IBNS: West Bengal top minister Sujit Bose was on Friday raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the alleged recruitment scam in a civic body, media reports said.

Six locations including Bose's property have been raided by the ED.
The probe agency raided Bose's home-cum-office in Salt Lake and the houses belonging to the former officials in the Dum Dum Municipality.
The ED had earlier raided Bose and quizzed him for 12 hours in connection with the same case in January 2024.
The agency is probing into the alleged irregularities in the recruitment process of the South Dum Dum Municipality in a period between 2010 and 2021 when Bose was the chairman of the civic body.
Bose is a senior leader of the ruling Trinamool Congress, which is headed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
He is the Fire and Emergency Services Minister of West Bengal.
