Alia opted for traditionals but in a rare look, she draped her saree in seedha pallu style.

Alia wore an olive-green saree with a thick silver zari border and her blouse was full-sleeved with a deep neckline.

In the makeup department, she used neutral tones, little and glowing and kohled eyes matching the festive but respectful vibe. Her hair was loose or softly styled.

What caught everyone including Rani Mukerji's attention at the occasion were her red and white bangles, which are worn by the Hindu women.

As Alia reached the venue, she was safely taken inside by her filmmaker friend Ayan Mukerji cutting across the camerapersons.

On noticing Rani on the occasion, Alia ran up to the senior actress, hugged her, shared light moments and then proceeded to offer prayers to Maa Durga.

Later, Alia clicked a selfie with Rani Mukerji, Ayan and Tanishaa Mukerji, posing for paparazzis before getting mobbed by her fans on her way out.

When one of her fans pulled her for a picture, Alia maintained her cool and grace to handle the situation and posed for the pictures trying to manage her modesty.

Earlier, Alia's actor husband Ranbir Kapoor, actress Priyanka Chopra were among the celebrities who attended the festivities.

On the work front, Alia, who was last seen in Jigra, will next feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War featuring her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in the co-lead.

Alia had previously worked with Bhansali in Gangubai Kathiawadi that earned her the National Award.

The actress has wrapped up shooting for Alpha, which will be her only release in 2025.
