Devdutt Padikkal and Nitish Reddy back on Indian squad for WI Tests, Jadeja named Gill's deputy
Mumbai/IBNS: The Indian cricket board selectors have brought back Devdutt Padikkal and Nitish Reddy to the Indian squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against West Indies.

Headed by former Indian cricketer Ajit Agarkar, the senior selection committee has named Shubman Gill as the captain and veteran allrounder Ravindra Jadeja as the vice-captain of the side.
Karun Nair, who struggled with his form in the England tour, has been dropped.
Though all eyes were on Nair who made a comeback after nearly seven years, underperformed with just one half-century in four Tests.
Despite a number of starts, the right-handed batter couldn't convert them into solid innings.
The two matches will be played in Ahmedabad and Delhi and the series starts on October 2.
