13-yerals old girl killed after a bus fall on her body
In a tragic road mishap, a 13-years old girl school student died after an inter-state bus fell on the body of the girl by losing its control in the 39-Mile area of National Highway-8 under Mungiakami police station of Teliamura of Khowai district on Monday.
Police sources said that one inter-state bus (AS-01-NC-1128) with passengers was moving towards Guwahati from Agartala and when the bus reached at 39-Mile area, the driver of the bus lost its control when trying to cross a curve and fall in the roadside gorge. Unfortunately, the school girl, who was passing through that road, was crushed by the falling bus and her body was compressed with a wheel of the bus.
Later, police and firefighters rushed to the spot and they with the help of a dozer removed the body of the girl under a wheel and shifted the body to Teliamura hospital. During the accident, two passengers of the bus also suffered injuries.
