15 political victim families get govt jobs, Ratan Lal Nath
As committed by the present state government before coming to power in 2018, so far the state government has provided jobs to 15 family persons of politically murder victims.
Addressing a press conference at Civil Secretariat on Thursday evening, Agriculture and Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath after the meeting of the scrutiny committee to recommends jobs to the next king of the victim of politically murdered person, Nath said after BJP government came to power in 2018, the state government on December 23rd, 2020 has decided to give government jobs to the next kin of political murdered persons and as per the decision, the government has also formed a scrutiny committee.
He said that all the applications received by the government have been sent to a scrutiny committee for verification and recommendation for jobs. The committee has received 26 applications for victim families of politically murdered persons and after verification, the committee has recommended for government jobs to 15 persons, said Nath and added that as per the recommendation of scrutiny committee, 15 persons are already given government offer letter and among them, now 7 persons are working in Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) department, one Secondary Education, two in Elementary Education and five more persons are working in revenue department as per their educational qualification.
On June 14, 2023, the scrutiny committee has been reconstituted and the Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath has been appointed as chairman of the committee and secretary of ICA department has been assigned as convener of the committee, members of the committee are secretary of Law department, secretary of ICA and additional secretary of Home department.
The similar scrutiny committee meeting held on Thursday and the committee after verifying six applications , has recommended government jobs to three applicants, said Nath.
He also said that the families of the politically murdered persons, who were killed before March 9th, 2018 are requested to file their applications to get government assistance and such kind of application forms are available in all SDM offices of the state.
