9th years of Modi govt make India, a corruption and scam free, Rituraj Sinha
The 9th year of Modi administration accomplished "historic achievements" with service to the nation, society and overall good governance without any corruption and scams, said BJP’s national secretary Rituraj Sinha.
Addressing a press conference here at BJP’s state headquarters on Tuesday afternoon accompanied by party state president Rajib Bhattacharjee said during its nine years in power, India is pushing forward with full confidence, passion, and determination to become a developed country.
He said before the Narendra Modi government, Congress has ruled the country for over 60 years and their Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi promised to the nation for poverty alleviation, but in reality they did nothing for the poor.
After the Modi government came to power in 2014, tremendous work has been done for the welfare of the poor and unprecedented measures have been taken for the upliftment of people living under the poverty line, said Sinha.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi prioritises the resolution of 'Antyodaya' and service in his policies, and his administration ensures that the benefits of social initiatives reach the last man in queue, said Sinha and added that basic requirements including as health, education, economic self-sufficiency, roads, water, and power reached the country's rural places during Prime Minister Modi's nine-year tenure.
"Nine years of the Modi government have been of service, good governance and poor welfare and historic achievements have been made in the areas of national security, self-reliance, global prestige, economic strengthening etc," said Sinha
He also said that the nine years of BJP government at the Centre under PM Modi had written a new chapter of progress and rapid development and the country is reaching new heights under Modi's leadership and is on pace to become the world's fifth largest economy.
He further stated that the Modi administration had not only enhanced democracy by empowering disadvantaged groups over the last nine years, but had also taken "revolutionary steps" for the people's wellbeing. ‘This is for the first time, the 8.5% tribal population of the country now a tribal President and a bold step for upliftment of the economically weaker section (EWS),’ said Sinha.
During the last nine years, the terrorism and Naxalite activities have also most come into its zero due to concrete steps taken by the Modi government, said Rituraj and added that Ram temple and abolition of Article-370 is now a reality.
He also said that the development in the last six years in Tripura has taken a new pace and the state is progressing in every sector including tremendous development in communication and now, Tripura is becoming an export hub.
Later, Sinha along with Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, top leaders of the party and few ministers had also participated in a businessmen conference at Muktadhara auditorium and exchanged views on the ninth years of success of India under the leadership of PM Modi.
