Agartala- Sealdah Kanchenjunga express flagged off with new stoppage at New Maynaguri Station

Agartala- Sealdah Kanchenjunga express flagged off with new stoppage at New Maynaguri Station

For the convenience of rail travellers, additional stoppage for two minutes has been provided on train no. 13173 (Sealdah-Agartala) Kanchenjunga Express from 06th October, 2023 and train no. 13174 (Agartala– Sealdah) Kanchenjunga Express from 07th October, 2023 at New Maynaguri station. Also, stoppage of train no. 13163/13164 (Sealdah-Saharsa-Sealdah) Hatebazare Express has been provided at Eklakhi station from 7th October, 2023.

Northeast frontier Railway (NFR) through a press statement said that Dr. Jayanta Kumar Roy, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) flagged of the Kanchenjunga Express with new stoppage at New Maynaguri station, West Bengal on Friday. In another program Khagen Murmu, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) flagged of the Hatebazare Express with new stoppage at Eklakhi station on Saturday. Senior railway officials from division and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Train no. 13173 (Sealdah-Agartala) Kanchenjunga Express will arrive New Maynaguri station at 19:16 hours and depart at 19:18 hours. In return journey train no. 13174 (Agartala– Sealdah) Kanchenjunga Express will arrive New Maynaguri station at 06:05 hours and depart at 06:07 hours. Train no. 13163 (Sealdah-Saharsa) Hatebazare Express will arrive Eklakhi station at 05:04 hours and depart at 05:06 hours, and in return journey train no. 13164 (Saharsa-Sealdah) Hatebazare Express will arrive Eklakhi station at 21:58 hours and depart at 22:00 hours.    

These new stoppages of the trains will provide another option for rail commuters of the areas for their journey with the state capital. The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and through NTES and are also notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NFR. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey, said the press statement.
