AR apprehended one drug paddler with Heroin worth of Rs. 35 lakh
The Radhanagar battalion of Agartala sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (E) in a joint operation with Jirighat police station, Cachar district of Assam apprehended one individual along with Heroin on Sunday.
Assam Rifles sources said that based on credible information of drugs sale, a joint operation was launched by Radhanagar Battalion of Assam Rifles with police representatives from Jirighat police station wherein the operation party apprehended one individual along with 88.05 grams of Heroin with approximate cost of Rs. 35 lakh from general area Hmarkhawlien, Cachar District,Assam.
Detained drug paddler with seized contents was handed over to Jirighat police station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
