AR organises national integration tour for tribal students
Assam Rifles is organising a National Integration Tour for the tribal students of Gariya Academy Tentui Ompi School, Karbook Village of Gomati district December 18 to 24, 2023.
The tour was flagged off from Agartala wherein 30 students along with four teachers and four personnel of Assam Rifles started their journey to HQ DGAR, Shillong. The official of Assam Rifles addressed all students coming from different backgrounds including those from BPL families and the teachers before flagging off and highlighted the aim of such an initiative which is to give an insight into the rich and varied culture of North Eastern states as also understanding the wide diversity across the country in different spheres and still the country remains one.
The tour is being conducted with an aim to provide an opportunity to the children to visit prominent places and interact with various intellectuals and renowned personalities. This kind of exposure will enhance their general awareness.
