Banker mowed down by speeding train, suicide suspected

In a tragic incident, one bank employee was mowed down by a speeding train at Sadhutilla area near Jogendranagar raid station under East Agartala police station on Friday.
Police sources said that they had also recovered a suicide note near the compressed body and started investigation whether it was an accident or suicide.
Giving details police sources said that on Friday morning, the station master of Jogendranagar station informed the Government Railway Police station (GRP) that a body of an unknown man was found at the railway track at Sadhutilla area near Jogendranagar station.
Immediately, police and firefighters rushed to the spot and they shifted the compressed body to GB Hospital, which has been identified as Shibu Dey (60), a clerical staff of Agartala State Co-operative Bank. Police also informed the family of the deceased man.
Police sources added that they have also collected a suicide note near the body and after registering an unnatural death (UD) case started investigation.
