Biplab appeals to people do not fall prey before Communists

“Communists are the form of Ravana in the guise of monks and their main goal is to achieve political interests by misleading people,” claimed former chief minister and incumbent MP Biplab Kumar Deb.
Inaugurating the 19th Raj Rajeshwari tourism festival at Muhuripur in South Tripura district on Tuesday, Deb targeted the communists and said ‘when Ravana abducted Sita, he took the form of a monk. Just as ghosts come in various forms, similarly, communists also appear before people in the form of monks. And if you fall into their trap, you will see that they will take the real form of Ravana and take you to Lanka.”
“Even if you chant the Gayatri mantra in front of the ghost, the name of Ram never comes to the ghost's mouth, similarly the communists. Just as Ravana, a demon, did not change his nature even after his wife convinced him a hundred times, similarly the communists are also not changeable,” said Deb.
Biplab Kumar Deb said, the desire to do something for people, which makes a person victorious. But that victory should always be for the welfare of the people, not for themselves. Despite winning repeatedly in Tripura, the Communists did not do anything for the people; they have done it only for the party. The people of Tripura should think once again about what they earned during the long 35 years rule of Communists, said Deb.
Highlighting the alleged misrule of Communists in Tripura, Deb said, the poor have become more poor under the communist rule.
He said that till 2016, the budget of the Tripura state was only Rs 15,000 crore. But the budget of the present state government has more than doubled in about seven and a half years. He alleged that tonsuring the head on the death of one's parents, wearing a ‘Tulsi’ garland after initiation by a Guru, going to temples, and performing puja are against the communist principles. Instead, they have extended the lines of their processions and pushed the future of the people towards darkness., claimed Deb.
He also claimed that riots between castes and tribes, political brutality, political murders, terrorism, narrow-mindedness, negative thinking against each other - these qualities were spread among the people by Communists.
Biplab Kumar Deb said that he has sent a proposal of about Rs. 10.28 crore to the concerned central ministry for the development of Raj Rajeshwari Temple. Along with this, he also said that proposals have been sent for Bilonia Yogmaya Kali Temple and Sabroom's Dvaityeswari Kali Temple. The proposal of about Rs 30 crore has been sent for these three development projects.
He said that the economic development of the region will improve after the development of these three temples. As a result, when the arrival of tourists increases, both income and revenue will increase. Just as the Tripura Sundari temple has been developed under the Prasad scheme, these three temples will also be developed in the same way. He expressed hope that the work on these projects will start by Diwali next year.
Referring to West Bengal today, he said that despite being a woman Chief Minister, the tradition and culture of West Bengal has been destroyed. The holy land from which so many scholars and eminent persons have emerged is also being tarnished. He expressed his firm belief that the BJP will come to power in the next 2026 assembly elections in West Bengal under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
