A coordination meeting between Nodal officers of BSF and BGB was held on Saturday on Maitri bridge, Sabroom. The Indian delegation was led by Saroj Kumar Singh, Deputy Inspector General, Nodal officer BSF Tripura Frontier and BGB delegation was led by S M Shafiqur Rahman, Director, Nodal officer South East Region, Chattogram.
This meeting was organized to discuss the issues of concern mainly that of ensuring domination and security along the Indo- Bangladesh border particularly in the inhospitable terrain on the eastern border (on Bangladesh side).
