BSF organises inter-sector badminton competition
Border Security Force, Tripura organized Inter Sector Badminton Competition started on January 3rd at Agartala. Patel Piyush Purusottam Das, IG of Tripura frontier was the chief guest of the closing ceremony held on Saturday (January 6th).
A BSF press statement said that IG-BSF handed over trophy to winner and runner and distributed certificate among the participants. Senior officers from the Frontier Tripura were present on the occasion. Final matches for all the categories were played on Saturday, in which all the participants took part with the spirit of the game.
Selected players will further participate in Inter Frontier Badminton competition 2024.
BSF has recognized the need to maintain a proper equilibrium between a healthy mind and healthy body to achieve sustained professional efficiency. Sports not only develop leadership qualities, esprit-de-corps and discipline but also inculcate a sense of unity, cooperation and comradeship. Organizing such type of events will certainly create the atmosphere for sportsmanship and competitiveness among Seema Praharis.
