BSF organized “Meri Mati Mera Desh” programme
The Border Security Force, Tripura Frontier and under command units under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” organized “Meri Mati Mera Desh” program with community participation to pay tributes to the martyrs who contributed significantly to the independence, unity and integrity of India and laid down their lives for the country.
During the events five pledge like freedom from every thought of slavery, developed India, unity and solidarity, pride in heritage and duty towards citizens were taken. Collection of Mati in Amrit kalash was done and people took pledge with taking Mati (soil) in their hand.
Other programs like tree plantation, Tricolors hoisting, cycle rally and march with national flags were organized. People’s enthusiasm towards the program and active participation made the event a grand success.
