CM hands over scheme benefits to the beneficiaries of MPSN

Financial assistance among the animal rearers at Pragna Bhavan. The chief minister said, to implement the Mukhyamantri Prani Sampad Vikash Yojana the department has sanctioned Rs. 11 crore for the 2024-25 financial year. To encourage the animal rearers during the 2024-25 financial year,5000 families engaged in animal rearing will be felicitated under Mukhyamantri Pranipalak Samman Nidhi.

 This felicitation will comprise Rs. 6000 as DBT. In today’s programme the chief minister handed over this benefit in its second phase.

Chief Minister also said, under the Prani Sampad Vikash Yojana, in the 2023-24 financial year financial assistance amounting Rs.6000 was given to 3006 families as Mukhyamantri Prani-palak Sammannidhi honour. Again under the Mukhyamantri Prani Sampad Vikash Yojana, assistance will be given to 36,000 families for duck and poultry farming in 2024-25 financial year. He also mentioned about the financial assistance up to the tune ofRs.20,000 given in case of unnatural death of animals and birds under Calf Growth Mill Scheme. He said there are 16 veterinary health centres, 65 veterinary dispensaries, and 460 veterinary health sub-centres in the state to facilitate vaccination, treatment and preventive activities. In addition, 13 mobile veterinary units are also functional in the state. He said, under Mukhyamantri Unnat Godhan Prakalpa so far 2, 56, 030 calves have been born through artificial reproduction system. Out of the 54,852 calves born, 46,461 have been female.

At the programme ARDD minister Sudhangshu Das said, Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Sammannidhi was launched to encourage the farmers in animal husbandry. He said, assistance has also been given to the flood affected animal rearers. He also discussed future plans of the department for making women self-reliant. The programme was also graced by the Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, deputy mayor Manika Das and secretary of ARDD Deepa D. Nair.
