Drug awareness bike rally from Agartala to Ladakh
Drug free India awareness bike rally is an initiative by a group of young Agartala professionals from diverse fields. The initiative is to create awareness among the general public, specially the youth in stopping drug abuse. It’s a campaign to popularize the consequences of Drug addiction and its use.
The awareness bike rally has been flagged off on 7th May, 2023 at Agartala, where two bikers Ayan Sharma and Surajit Debnath will begin the awareness campaign. After reaching Kolkata via Assam and Meghalaya another Agartala based biker Shuvam Roy will join them for Ladakh. After reaching Delhi other bikers Joypratap Biswas, Santanu Deb will join them for the final destination. The bikers will cover a distance of 11,000 KM in their journey from Agartala-Ladakh-Agartala. The total rally will be for 25 days. The bikers will travel through Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab and Kashmir. During their journey they will stop at various locations and engage in awareness activity and interact with local people and especially the youth.
The organizers requested the people from various walks of life, Media professionals, government officials, police, armed forces, and other concerned citizens to assist the bikers in their venture.
