Holy Cross School, Agartala celebrates golden Jubilee
Holy Cross School Agartala inaugurated the Jubilee year in 2020, but unfortunately, all the celebrations had to be muted because of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
However, the concluding event of the Golden Jubilee celebration was so mesmerizing that the wait time was worth it. It was quite a family affair where members of the Holy Cross fraternity met, admiring and acknowledging its growth as a mammoth learning hub. All the dignitaries, on occasion, were closely connected to Holy Cross.
Chief Guest Bishop Lumen Monteiro, CSC, Bishop of Agartala, Guest of Honour Bishop Stephen, CSC, Bishop of Aizawl and a host of other dignitaries, including past principals, Vice Principals, administrators and Headmistresses, teachers, and alumni witnessed over 1000 students performing simultaneously on three stages. Apart from students, Teachers, parents, and alumni also added colour to the occasion through their enthralling performance. During the occasion, the school also felicitated Principals, Vice principals, Headmistresses, teachers, and the first batch of students.
As this mammoth learning hub looks back with measured pride on the 50-plus years of its history, there is a great sense of satisfaction. The school gratefully acknowledges the founding Holy Cross fathers and the fathers who held the helm tight to date, the Bethany sisters who worked and continue to walk alongside, the dedicated teachers, instrumental in educating and forming multitudes of dignified human persons through Holy Cross, and of course the support staff, the silent workforce that keeps the ball rolling daily.
