Honey bee stings, youth critical 

In a strange incident, a 30-year-old youth Abhijit Tanti on way to his home suffered critical injuries , when a group of Honey Bees bitten him at Meglipara tea garden  area under West Tripura district on Saturday afternoon.

Sources said that Abhijit Tanti after completing his regular works from Khayerpur area was returning to his home at Mohanpur through Meglipara tea garden.

When he passed through the tea garden area, a bunch of honey bees attacked on him and bitten him severely. Amidst heavy pain and agony, Abhijit somehow  managed to call his father's phone, they immediately contacted Mohanpur fire station and firefighters rushed to the spot, Firefighters rescued Abhijit in unconscious mode and shifted him to the trauma centre of GB Hospital in critical condition.

Hospital sources said that the condition of Abhijit Tanti is still very critical and doctors have also recovered dozens of dead honey bees from his body.
