Kiln labourer killed another labourer after a boozing party

After a hot altercation, a kiln labourer killed another labourer in the wee hours of Thursday and after the incident, the lone accused of the brutal murder was also arrested by police.

Police sources said that accused kiln labourer Bipaiya Koriar of Jharkhand state allegedly after a boozing party in the hut at BBI kiln at Madhabbari area under Jirania police station had engaged with hot altercation with another kiln labourer Chandra Pal Urag (45) of Jharkhand. Later, accused Bipaiya Koriar attacked Chandra Pal with a brick on his head and by smashing his head killed him on the spot.

When, Thursday morning some other kiln labourers opened the door of victim Chandra Pal’s hut, they found him lying at the floor of the hut in a pool of blood and immediately informed the matter to police.

Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body of GB Hospital morgue for autopsy and within few hours, they also managed to arrest the lone accused of the murder, Bipaiya Koriar from nearby areas of BBI kiln.

Police stated that they registered a specific case under section 302 of IPC and arrested will be produced before court for further legal proceedings. Later, in the afternoon, the mortal remains of the victim labourer were handed over to his relatives after autopsy.
