Major administrative reshuffle: 23 IPS, TPS officers transferred,  Anurag new ADGP(L&O)

In Major administrative reshuffle, altogether 23 IPS and TPS Grade-I officers were transferred and posted at different wings of Tripura police.

A notification issued by the General Administration (personnel and training) department on Friday said that senior IPS officer Shri Anurag on return from central deputation has been the charges of Additional DGP ( law and order) and including ADGP(law and order) Saurabh Tripathi has been transferred as ADGP-police headquarters.

Dr Kulwant Singh (IPS), SP of South Tripura district has been transferred as SP(Economic Offences), additional SP(South) Mihir Lal Das (TPS, Gr-I) posted as in-charge SP(Cyber Crime), SP(Security) Bijoy Debbarma (IPS) has been transferred as SP(procurement) and incumbent SP of Procurement , Prabir Majumder has been transferred as SP(MTF).

The incumbent AIGP(HQ) Sankar Debnath (IPS) has been transferred as commandant of 6^th battalion TSR, R Darlong (TPS, Gr-I), which was attached to police headquarters has been transferred  AIGP(TSR), SP((serious Crime) Ratiranjan Debnath (IPS) has been transferred as SP(Anti-Narcotics), incumbent commandant of 6^th battalion of TSR, Jayanta Chakraborty (IPS) has been transferred as AIGP(HQ), Alok Bhattacharjee (TPS, Gr-I_ AIGP(Crime) transferred as  in-charge commandant of 9^th of battalion TSR,  Rajib Sengupta (TPS, Gr-I) in-charge AIGP(PH & C) to in-charge commandant of ACRR training centre, Nabadip Jamatia (TPS, Gr-I) from SP(MTF) to principal KTDS-PTA,  Ashok Kumar Sinha (TPS, Gr-I) in-charge principal of KTDS-PTA to in-charge SP(South district), Rajib Nag (TPS, Gr-I) in-charge commandant of 9^th battalion TSR has been transferred as in-charge of AIGP(PHQ), HF Darlong (TPS, Gr-I), deputy commandant of 2^nd battalion TSR transferred as in-charge of SP(serious Crime).

Other transferred officers’ are  Sudip Kumar Paul (TPS, Gr-I) in-charge commandant of ACRR training centre , has been transferred as  in-charge commandant of TSR 1^st battalion, Narayan Roy Choudhury (TPS, Gr-I) transferred from in-charge commandant of 3^rd battalion TSR to in-charge commandant of 2^nd battalion TSR, Binoy Kishore Debbarma (TPS, Gr-I) transferred from additional SP(Dhalai) to in-charge commandant of 3^rd battalion TSR, Sharmistha Chakraborty (TPS, Gr-I) has been transferred from SP(Anti-Narcotics) to AIGP(crime), Kishore Debbarma (TPS, Gr-I) from SP(Cyber Crime ) to SP(security), Timir Das (IPS) from commandant of Home Guard to SP(SCRB) and Sudeshna Bhattacharyya (IPS) has been transferred from SP(SCRB) to commandant (Home Guard).
