Minor reshuffle: Eight IAS, IFS officers transferred

In a minor administrative reshuffle, eight senior IAS and IFS officers were transferred and posted in different administrative wings of the state government.
As per the notification issued by the General administration (personnel and training) department on May 3rd said that incumbent special secretary of SC Welfare, Industries and Commerce departments, Abhishek Chandra (IAS), will now hold the charge of Planning and Statistics department independently and has been relieved from the charges of SC Welfare, Industries and Commerce .
BS Mishra (IFS), principal secretary of Fisheries and Animal Resources development departments will also hold the charge of SC Welfare department and KS Sethi (IFS), PCCF and principal secretary of Forests, science and technology will hold the charges of Industries and commerce department.
On repatriation from inter-cadre deputation, S Prabhu(IFS) is posted as director of Tribal welfare department and LT Darlong (IAS) is relieved from the additional charge of director of Tribal welfare department.
AK Bhattacharjee, special secretary of Revenue and GA, director of Fire Service departments will also hold the charges of Revenue and Home (fire and emergency services) independently.
Principal secretary Puneet Agarwal (IAS) has been relieved from the charges of Revenue department and Apurba Roy, incumbent secretary of Planning , Agriculture, Home (Fire service) with other additional charges is relieved from the charges of planning and Home (fire service) departments.
