Months long “Prati Ghore Susashan” campaign to ends on Dec 25

The state government will conclude the two and half month long “Prati Ghore Susashan” (good governance at every household)   on the birth anniversary former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25th next with publication of report card over the achievement of the government  during the campaign.

After attending a meeting with all councilors, officials and mayor, deputy mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), DM(West), director of ICA department and other elected representatives of rural bodies, Information and Cultural Affairs and Sports Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that “Prati Ghore Susashan” (good governance at every household)   to ensure benefits  of various state and central schemes for the people of the state has started during the celebration of 72th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi  and will be ended on December 25th next on the birth anniversary of former PM Atal Bihari Vajyayee.

On the concluding day, the government along all urban and rural bodies of the state will present a report card over the achievement of the two and half month long campaign, said Chowdhury and added that the all councilors of the AMC and representatives of other rural and civic bodies should ensure the participation of large number of people on the concluding day of the campaign.

Chowdhury also said that the meeting had also detailed discussion over the successful conclusion ceremony of “Khelo Tripura, Sustha Tripura” campaign on December 23 in Agartala.

He said that the day will start with massive anti-drug campaign by organizing a colourful rally from Umakanta Academy to Astable ground and in the evening statewide a mega programme will be held at the Vivekananda stadium ground.

He said with an aim to expand the “Khelo Tripura, Sustha Tripura” campaign and to boost up the sporting activities across the state to achieve the goal of drug free Tripura, the government has initiated to give sports accessories to 1500 clubs of the state worth of Rs. 20,000 each club and the distribution of sports accessories will start from statewide programme of“Khelo Tripura, Sustha Tripura” Vivekananda stadium (Astable ground) on December 23rd followed by a cultural night in participation many artists including renowned singer Sonu Nigam.

He said that during the past one through different programmes , the “Khelo Tripura, Sustha Tripura” campaign is going on across the state  to motivate the youths of the state  for sporting activities and to lead a drug-free life.

He said that on December 23rd, only a few clubs of Agartala will get their sports accessories and  within the next 10 days, the department will distribute the same to the clubs of districts and subdivisions.

Chowdhury said that this is for the first time in Tripura, a Drone show will also be organized by the professionals of IITs. He said that these professional IIT engineers will fly 250 drones at a time and the take off of all drones will start from Hindi HS school ground. Drones will also show slides with different awareness messages for drug free Tripura.

Speaking in the programme AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder said all the 51 wards of AMC get the benefits of “Prati Ghore Susashan” and concluding day programme will be held at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan.

The Director of ICA , Ratan Biswas appealed for maximum participation of people for the successful conclusion of months-long event.
