‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’: Treatment related financial assistance given to 52 people from CM relief fund

The weekly ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ programme gaining mass confidence and so far, financial assistance has been given to 92 people for treatment through Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme and out of them, 52 people have received assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ programme is becoming a platform of hope day by day. Present government stands by the people– with this thought the ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ programme was started on April 12, 2023. In this programme chief minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha meets with the people coming from different corners of the state to listen to their various issues and woes and directs the officials including secretaries to take necessary action on those issues. This initiative of the chief minister continues till date.

According to the information received from the Secretariat, so far 20th episode of the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu has been held. Through these episodes a total of 449 people from different corners of the state have had the opportunity to meet the chief minister. Most of them came to seek assistance for treatment or health related issues. The chief minister has not only given direction on such issues but also tried to find remedy for land related issues, admission etc. through the officials. Till date financial assistance has been given to 92 people for treatment through Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme.

Out of   this,52 people have received assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. And the rest were covered under different schemes of the health department. Apart from giving financial assistance, arrangements for their treatment have been done in GB Hospital and Cancer Hospital. In addition, 38 applications have been forwarded to the social welfare and social education department for financial assistance from Juvenile Justice Fund and 172 applications have been forwarded to health, revenue, police, education, minority welfare etc. departments for necessary action.
