National Youth Day celebrated at Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus

The Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus at Lembucherra at the outskirts of Agartala celebrated National Youth Day on Friday to honour the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand.
On this occasion Swami Vedanganandaji, Principal, Ramkrishna Mission Private ITI remained present as the Chief Guest. In his speech, Swami Vedanganandaji opined that Vivekanand, an icon for the youth still needs to be studied more with a view to unearth his insightful thinking and to assimilate his inspiring words in our day-to-day life. Ms. Jay Saha, Assistant Professor (Sanskrit Dept.), Tripura Central University as Guest of honour highlighted the spiritual aspect of Swami Vivekanand’s life and imbued all students to keep a holistic approach towards life and nation. Prof. Prabhat Kumar Mohapatra, Director of the Campus, presided over the session and urged all the students to keep an inclusive universal outlook towards life like Swami Vivekanand. A rally was also organized on this occasion in which all the staff and students of the campus participated. Dr Nandadulal Mandal, Assistant Professor (Shiksha Shastra) was the coordinator of this event.
