Revenue dept filed FIR against fake appointment letters

The Revenue department of Tripura government on Monday filed an FIR at NCC police station in Agartala against fake appointment letters in the name of Revenue department.
In the FIR filed by CK Malsom, deputy secretary of the state government that the PA to DM of Unakoti district, Malay Dasgupta intimated over telephone and sent a copy of fake appointment letter to the oop officials of Revenue department and wanted to know whether the appointment letter is genuine or fake, which has been issued in favour of one Nibas Das of North Pabiacherra village under Kumarghat police.
The fake appointment letter was brought before Nibas Das by one Suchira Das accompanied by one Dipesh Shil, barber shop-keeper of Kumarghat, said the FIR and added that it needs a proper investigation for next course of actions.
Deputy secretary CK Malsom in his FIR has also said that the online tracking report of the Registered post consignment of fake appointment appears to have been posted from Khowai post office.
Malsom also said that another fake appointment letter was uploaded of the same nature received through an e-mail on Monday, whereas one Swarup Nama wanted to know whether it is fake or genuine. He said that a second fake appointment letter has been issued in favour of one Math Chakma of Machmara village.
Malson added that no such appointment letters were issued by the Revenue department and requested the police authorities to investigate the matter and punish the culprits involved with fake appointment letters. The Revenue department also sends the copies of FIR to DGP and all DMs and SPs of the state.
