School boy commits suicide after girlfriend’s brother thrashed him
In a tragic incident, a seventeen years old school boy committed suicide after he was allegedly assaulted by brother of his girl friend at Bankar Tilla of Khowai district.
Sources said that the victim youth was identified as Sayan Bhadra of Bankar Tilla under Khowai police station, studying in class-twelve in Khowai School had developed love affairs with one of his classmates for the past few years. But, on Wednesday after disputing patty issues, through a video call to his girlfriend Sayan consumed poison after the elder brother of his girlfriend severely thrashed him and returned back to his home.
On Wednesday at midnight he started vomiting, and then his father noticed and asked him the reason for his vomiting. Then, Sayan revealed that incident of assault on him and consuming of poison. Immediately, his father and other villagers shifted him to Khowai hospital. After his condition started deteriorating, Sayan was referred to GB Hospital, but in the early morning of Thursday breathed his last.
Speaking with media persons, the relatives of the victim boy demanded stringent action against elder brother of his girl friend, who severally thrashed him and in consequence, Sayan committed suicide.
