Scribe commits suicide by jumping in front of local train in Belonia
In a tragic incident one scribe working from Belonia town was mowed down by a speeding local train at Belonia on Tuesday morning, while police said that he committed suicide by jumping in front of a speeding local train and after the incident, they has also recovered a suicide note.
Police sources said that the deceased man was identified as Pritish Datta (38), working as a journalist from Belonia town, who was suffering from mental distress after his father allegedly sold his car.
Earlier, Pritish Datta’s wife has also separated from him due to alleged drug addiction and during recent few days, Datta was suffering from mental depression.
On Tuesday morning, just before the Belonia railway station, he jumped in the middle of the railway track when a speeding local train reached Belonia station and he was mowed down by the train within seconds and cut his body into pieces.
Police after the incident rushed to the spot and recovered his body into many pieces and sent it to the hospital morgue for autopsy. Police added that they lodged an unnatural death (UD) case and started investigation over the reason for alleged suicide. Police also added that they investigate over the statements written in the suicide note.
