Sister’s husband killed younger brother-in-law at Jirania

In a tragic incident disputing petty family issues, one brother-in-law( sister’s husband) stabbed to death his younger brother-in-law on Friday at Muslim Para villager of Jirania police station under West Tripura district.
Police sources said that on Friday morning accused sister’s husband Sarif Hussain issuing petty family disputes thrashed his wife. Seeing the attack on his sister, brother-in-law Safar Ali Miah (32) protested over the domestic violence over his sister. But, addicted sister’s husband, Sharif Hussain rushed to his house and brought a big knife. All of sudden amidst the hot altercation, Sharif Hussain stabbed his brother-in-law in the upper portion of stomach.
Amidst hue and cry, other inmates of the family and some neighbor rushed to the spot and shifted severally injured Safar Ali to Jirania hospital and after primary treatment; he was referred to GB Hospital in critical condition. But, during treatment Safar Ali succumbed to death due to his critical stabbing injuries.
While, local villagers managed to nab accused Sharif Hussain and after roughed him up and handed over to police. The Jirania police station arrested him and registered a specific case under murder section.
