Tipra-Motha supremo Pradyot Kihsore calls for maintaining Thansa among Tiprasa people
With the Parliamentary election doing the rounds, Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Kishore Manikya on Thursday called upon Tiprasa people to remain united to secure the future of the new generation.
“There have been attempts to divide Tiprasa people on religion, caste, creed and money. If we fail to remain united, then our next generation will suffer in future”, he said during celebration of Tring festival at Mohanpur.
“If Tipra people’s unity cracks, the days will come when the indigenous people will be a past in the northeastern state. Therefore, we must maintain thansa (unity) to secure the life of next generation”, he said.
The royal scion further reiterated, “If we compromise today, the next generation will be suffers”.
Recently, MHA Advisor AK Mishra visited the state and held meeting with Chief Minister Manik Saha, delegation of Tipra Motha and other stakeholders on the development of tribal areas.
During the meeting, the Tipra Motha highlighted its core demand for constitutional salutation to the problems of indigenous people. Now, it is to be seen how the Centre accommodates the Tipra Motha’s demand for greater Tipraland.
