Two SP level officers of Tripura depute to CBI
Two senior police officers of the state administration have been deputed to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and they were also relieved from their present assignments.
The General Administration (Personnel and Training) department of Tripura government on Wednesday through a letter to the Under Secretary of Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said that as per the directives of the Supreme Court judgement issued on August 7th last in connection with the Manipur violence and implementation of the directions and order of the MHA, two SP level officers including AIGP(TSR) Subrata Chakraborty and Commandant of 2nd battalion TSR, Pinaki Samanta has been transferred to CBI on deputation.
Both officers were relieved from their present assignments and directed to report at the headquarters of CBI in New Delhi immediately.
