Launched in Aug 2019, the cruelty-free homegrown brand offers end-to-end hair management along with formulated product range for Curly and Wavy hair texture.

The D2C brand offers organic tailor-made solutions as well as a variety of services such as consultation and hair care guidance to customers.

The brand started as a digital-first approach in India and soon made inroads into ecommerce marketplaces to scale along with physical salons and retail stores.

In response to the surge in demand for the brand from the international market, Curl Cure set up a salon and retail business in Dubai to provide a personal approach.

On the other hand, the US market is popular for ecommerce businesses and hence, brands made the products accessible on ecommerce platforms like Amazon.

Digital percolation has enabled D2C brands to acquire customers across countries, and Indian D2C brands are increasingly tapping into global markets. The D2C market is predicted to reach $350 billion globally by 2030, driven by rising e-commerce consumer consumption.

Simran Sainani, Founder and Director of Curl Cure said, "Curly hair is much appreciated internationally and hence, many brands have already set their niche in the market. In this scenario, our research-backed and internationally sourced ingredients set us apart from other players and provide superior hair care without the use of synthetic additives.

"We have witnessed 25% Y-on-Y growth and foresee a rising graph in other markets as well. We are expecting our sales to increase by over 35% only via Amazon alone once we go completely global."
