Indian Market: Sensex zooms to new high to touch 69,296.14 pts
The BSE Sensex hit fresh record highs on Tuesday for a second straight session, surging 431.02 pts to close at 69,296.14 on the strength of Utilities, Power and BSE services stocks even as a global stock rally declined ahead of key US data.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 168.30 pts at 20,855.10.
The Sensex advanced 303 pts at 69,168.53 in opening session.
It was rallied 516 pts at 69,381.31, days high, before closing at 69,296.14, up 431.02 pts from its previous close.
The NSE posted days high and low at 20,864.05 and 20,711.15 pts respectively.
The stocks include, Utilities, Power and BSE services boosted the market, as Utilities and Power spurted 6.54 and 6.09 pc respectively.
BSE services went up by 3.93 pc.
The Mid Cap rose by 0.14 pc and Small Cap by 0.12 pc.
In 30 scrips, 19 advanced while 11 declined.
The gainers were Powergrid by 4.79 pc to Rs 223.10, NTPC by 4.22 pc to by 286.40, SBI by 2.25 pc to Rs 608, ICICI Bank by 1.90 pc to Rs 1009.40 and M& M by 1.79 pc to Rs 1686.35.
The losers were Hind Unilever by 1.45 pc to Rs 2564.05, HCL Technologies by 1.28 pc to
Rs 1319.65, Bajaj Finance by 0.74 pc to Rs 7350, and Wipro by .69 pc to Rs 404.50.
