India's IT industry will grow $300 bn by 2030: Kris Gopalakrishnan
Bengaluru: Infosys Co-founder and Karnataka IT Vision Group Chairman Kris Gopalakrishnan on Wednesday said India's IT industry will grow $300 billion by 2030.

"Technology's role in increasing productivity, and enhancing customer benefits is vital. The Bengaluru Tech Summit is a testament to Karnataka's commitment to drive innovation.
Last year, (IT) industry grew by around 9 percent. It is a $200 billion industry; it is expected to grow to $300 billion by the year 2030," he said at the 26th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit.
Though the global economy is witnessing a slowdown, in the medium to long term, India will reach the $300 billion mark, Gopalakrishnan said.
