Interest on General Provident Fund remains unchanged at 7.1 pc
New Delhi: The government has not altered the interest rate on General Provident Fund (GPF) and will remain effective till at least March 31, 2023, media reports said.

The interest on the social security scheme, available to central government employees, will continue at 7.1 percent.
The interest will be applicable to State Railway Provident Fund, Contributory Provident Fund, Armed Forces Personnel Provident Fund and All India Services Provident Fund.
