J&K Bank Receives Award for Exceptional Contribution to PM Awas Yojana
Srinagar/IBNS: J&K Bank was presented with an award by Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) for its remarkable efforts in the housing sector of the country.

The recognition was given for the bank's innovative initiatives in providing assistance for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) - Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS), reported Good Morning Kashmir.
During the 53rd Foundation Day Celebrations of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) in New Delhi, the Bank's General Manager (C&CB) Narjay Gupta was presented with the award by Secretary of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Manoj Joshi.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman & Managing Director of HUDCO, Kuldip Narayan, Bank's Zonal Head (Delhi) Rakesh Magotra, as well as HUDCO's board of directors and other distinguished guests.
Hardeep S. Puri, the Union Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs and Petroleum & Natural Gas, inaugurated the event.
“It is an honour for the entire J&K Bank Family to be felicitated at such a prestigious national platform for our contribution towards the country’s housing sector under Prime Minister Awas Yojana (PMAY)-U that envisaged ease-of-living through a pucca house to all urban dwellers," stated Baldev Prakash, the MD & CEO regarding the recognition.
“Such an acknowledgement will further boost our efforts as we continue to serve the weaker and vulnerable sections of society through more such effective financial interventions," he stated further.
Kuldip Narayan, the Chairman & MD of HUDCO, had previously communicated his profound gratitude to J&K Bank for its exceptional efforts in the housing sector through various innovative initiatives under PMAY-CLSS.
