Realme may setup Research and Development Centre in Bengaluru
Smartphone maker Realme is likely to set up its Research and Development Centre in Bengaluru.

Addressing after launching of Realme 12 Pro Series 5G, the newest addition to its premium number series here on Wednesday, Bazul Kochar, Product Manager, Realme India, said that we will hire professionals for the proposed R&D centre.
The company already has a design centre in Gurugram.
The company has a manufacturing facility in Noida, he said “ the realme 12 Pro series 5G introduced two standout Smartphone’s – the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G and the realme 12 Pro 5G, pricing starting from Rs 25,999.
"The two new additions are positioned as the Next-gen Imaging smartphones, marking an important milestone that is aligned with Realme’s revamped ‘ make it real’ brand spirit and boasts a refreshed brand identity that resonates with your users”, Kochar said.
Latest premium Smartphone from realme, designed to elevate photography and videography to new heights, the realme 12 Pro+ 5G introduces net-generation imaging technology and features cutting-edge periscope telephoto technology to enable full-focal length, lossless Zoom capabilities and a proprietary MasterShot algorithm developed in collaboration with Qualcomm, he said.
Realme design studio also collaborated with renowned international luxury watch design master Ollivier Saveo to bring a luxury watch-inspired design that comes to life in the new realme 2 Pro Series 5G, the product manager said.
Available in three colours in three variants, the realme 12 pro+ 5G 8GB/128GB will be available at INR 29,999, 8GB+256GB priced at INR 31,999 and 12GB+256GB will be available at INR 33,999 while the realme 12 Pro 5G which available in two colours, will be available in two storage variants -- 8GB+128GB priced at INR 25,999 and 8GB+256GB will be available at INR 26,999.
The Pre-booking has already started from January 29 for offline buyers and on January 30 for online buyers.
However, the First Sale will begin from February 6 at 12 noon onwards and the Chinese smartphone maker is offering a discount of INR 2,000 on bank offer and a No Cost EMI up to 12 months on realme 12 Pro Series 5G across realme stores, realme.com and Flipkart.
The First Sale of Explorer Red ( realme 12 Pro+5G) will begin from February 9 at 12 noon onwards on realme.com, Flipkart.com and mainline stores.
