Covid-19: Maharashtra registers 919 fresh cases and a single death

Mumbai: Maharashtra recorded 919 fresh cases of Covid-19 and a single virus related death during the past 24 hours, said the state health bulletin on Wednesday.

With the addition of these new cases the total number of Covid positive cases has gone up to 81,51,176 and death toll has reached 1,48,461.

Out of the 919 positive cases, Mumbai recorded 242 infections, followed by 105 cases in Nagpur city, 58 in Pune, and 57 in Navi Mumbai.

Meanwhile on Tuesday 710 patients recovered from coronavirus infection and the count of recoveries in the state reached 79,97,840.

At present 4,875 patients are being treated in the state, the bulletin added.
