Magnitude 5 earthquake hits Pakistan, tremors felt in Jammu and Kashmir

A magnitude 5 earthquake hit Pakistan on Saturday, with strong tremors being felt in India's Jammu and Kashmir, as per the United States Geological Survey.
The quake occurred 12 kms East-North-East of Sanjwal, Pakistan.
India's National Center for Seismology said the magnitude of the quake was 5.3.

Cities of Punjab, including Attock and Chakwal, also reported tremors in the region. In KP, jolts were felt in Peshawar, Mardan, Mohmand, Swabi, Nowshera, Lakki Marwat, Lower Dir, Malakand, Shabqadar and other cities, reported Geo News.

No casualties have been reported so far.
The tremors were also felt in several parts of Jammu and Kashmir in India, officials told UNI.
