Finnish technology company Jolla has officially returned to the Indian smartphone market with the launch of its latest Jolla Phone, marking its comeback after several years.

The new device revives the brand’s signature modular and repair-friendly design, featuring a replaceable back cover and battery, according to a report by Moneycontrol.

Powered by Sailfish OS, the new Jolla Phone places a strong emphasis on user privacy and data security, positioning itself as an alternative to mainstream Android and iOS devices.

The company revealed that the pre-order campaign for the new #JollaPhone crossed its first milestone of 2,000 units sold in under 48 hours of going live, reflecting strong early demand.

The smartphone is currently available through a pre-order model. Interested buyers must pay a €99 (approximately ₹10,409) deposit to reserve the device. The pre-order price has been set at €499 (around ₹52,465).

As per a post shared by the company on X (formerly Twitter), the final retail price is expected to be €599 (approximately ₹62,980). However, Jolla has not yet confirmed India-specific pricing.
