Kolkata's Loreto College inks MoU with Alteus Biogenics to facilitate career opportunities for students
In a significant step towards bridging the gap between academia and industry, Kolkata's Loreto College and Alteus Biogenics Pvt. Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently to foster skill development, research collaboration, and career opportunities for students.
As a Placement Cell initiative, this MoU marks the first industry collaboration for the college.
The agreement aims to provide students with hands-on experience, internships, industry projects, and specialized training to enhance their employability and provide employment opportunities.
The partnership will also focus on conducting joint research projects, organizing guest lectures, and hosting workshops to keep students and faculty updated with the latest technological and industrial trends.
It will facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and skill-development programmes and collaborate with the college in updating and enhancing the curriculum through Add-on courses.
This MoU marks a progressive step in ensuring that education aligns with industry needs, fostering innovation and growth for aspiring professionals as per the requirements of NEP and NAAC, a release by the college said.
