2 brothers held for stabbing 19-year-old Himanshu in north Delhi over alleged affair with their sister
New Delhi/IBNS: A 19-year-old youth was stabbed to death allegedly by two brothers in Northeast Delhi’s Gokalpuri on Monday.

The incident sparked tension in the area, and police deployed around 100 Rapid Police Force personnel to maintain peace.
Shahrukh (19) and Sahil Khan (22) were arrested on Tuesday and booked under BNS sections 103(1) and 3(5) pertaining to murder and shared intention, respectively.
According to reports, the victim, Himanshu, would meet and talk to a girl from his locality frequently.
The girl’s brother found out about their frequent interactions and decided to kill him.
"On Monday at 9.14 pm, we received information of a stabbing incident at Gokalpuri police station. Immediately, the SHO and other staff reached the spot and found that the victim had been taken to GTB Hospital… where he was declared dead on arrival by attending doctors,” police told reporters.
Himanshu’s family, however, alleged there was no relationship between their son and the girl.
His mother said that Himanshu got a call last night from the girl’s brother.
“He told Himanshu his sister wanted to meet him. My son went to the lane next to our house and those boys pulled him inside a narrow alley and stabbed him… he ran out towards our home but collapsed mid-way,” she said.
Meanwhile, the victim's family and neighbours staged a protest on Tuesday and accused the residents of that lane of sitting mum while the stabbing occurred.
