New Delhi/IBNS: Days ago, Bollywood actress and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan had revolted against calling her as "Jaya Amitabh Bachchan", which she felt was a way to show women have no identity of their own.

But now it seems she has come to terms with it.

In a fun banter with Vice President of India and Rajya Sabha chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, Jaya Bachchan referred to her as "Jaya Amitabh Bachchan", leading the Veep to burst into laughter.

Jaya Bachchan, a Rajya Sabha MP, continued, "Did you get a lunch break today? No? This is why you're taking Jairam Ji's name repeatedly. You cannot digest your food without taking his name."

Dhankhar replied saying, "I'll tell you on a light-hearted note. I did not take a lunch break today but I had lunch with Jairam ji."

"I also want to tell you that this might be the first time that I am both yours and Amitabh Ji's fan," he added.

Jaya Bachchan introduced herself as Jaya Amitabh Bachchan in RS.

Entire house burst into laughter.

Few days back, she became angry when RS Deputy Speaker H Narayan Singh addressed her as Jaya Amitabh Bachchan

Jaya Bachchan's name row

Known on social media for her public display of anger at paparazzi, Jaya Bachchan has recently sharply countered Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh for referring to her as 'Smt. Jaya Amitabh Bachchan'.

Reacting to Singh, Bachchan said, "Sir, sirf Jaya Bachchan bolte to kaafi hojata (It would’ve been enough to call me Jaya Bachchan)."

The Deputy Chairman responded saying her name was registered in that manner, prompting the Rajya Sabha MP to say "it's a new practice".

"Ye jo hain kuch naya tarika hain ki mahilaayen apne pati ke naam se jaani jaye. Unka koi astitva nahi. Unki koi upalabdh hi nahi hain, apne mein aur astitva nahi hain. Ye jo naya shuru hua hain, I just… (Some new practice has emerged that women have to be known by their husband's name. Women have no identity and achievements. This new practice, I just…)," she told the Deputy Chairman.

MP Jaya Amitabh Bachchan is pretentious farce lady with habit to show off as rebel & feminist.

When she filed RS nomination adding husband's name, how can she accuse Deputy Chairman of RS for not being not pro-women.
