Akasa Air starts international operations with Mumbai-Doha flight
Mumbai: Akasa Air has started its international operations with its first overseas flight from Mumbai to Doha, Qatar.
In a Thursday statement, the airline announced it has secured traffic rights for three additional international destinations: Kuwait, Jeddah, and Riyadh.
The statement also stated that Akasa's plans for swift expansion on a global scale in the upcoming months.
Additionally, the airline highlighted its strategically scheduled flights, offering travellers from various domestic cities such as Ahmedabad, Goa, Varanasi, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Kochi, and Delhi numerous connecting options for travel to and from Doha via Mumbai.
On the domestic front, Akasa operates flights from various cities including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kochi, among others.
