Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 makers announce Rs. 2 crore compensation for family of stampede victim
Southern star Allu Arjun and the makers of Pushpa 2 have announced they would give Rs 2 crore as compensation to the family of the child who is undergoing treatment after he was injured during a stampede at a cinema hall in Hyderabad during the premier of the movie earlier this month.

The child's mother died in the stampede which broke out at Sandhya Theatre on December 4.
While Rs 1 crore was given by Allu Arjun, Mythri Movies and director Sukumar gave Rs 50 lakh each, reported India Today.
Announcing the compensation, Allu Arjun's father, Allu Aravind, earlier was quoted as saying by the Indian news channel: "I have some legal instructions not to interact with family members. So, I requested chairman Dil Raju to hand over the money."
The compensation amount will be reportedly handed over to the family by Telangana Film Development Corporation chairperson Dil Raju.
The development came just a day after Allu Arjun was questioned by the Hyderabad police in connection with the stampede incident.
Allu was arrested in connection with the case but was later released on bail.
