Bengal: Three killed in another cracker explosion
Kolkata/UNI: Close on the heels of the gruesome explosion at an illegal cracker factory at Egra in East Midnapore district in which eleven people were killed and several injured, another explosion took place at Budge Budge in South 24 Parganas, taking three lives of a family.
The explosion happened last night in Chingripota village of Budge Budge's Nandrampur.
All the three family members of the house, where illegal firecrackers were stacked, were critically injured and rushed to Budge Budge ESI hospital, where they were declared brought dead.
A posse of police force was stationed there and a huge cache of illegal firecrackers was seized.
It might be mentioned that last week nine persons lost their lives and later two succumbed to their injuries in a massive explosion at an illegal firecracker factory at Egra in East Midnapore district. The mastermind of the crime also succumbed to his wounds at a Nursing Home in Cuttack.
