Big-screen debut with 'Take Care Bhalobasa' – Actor Susovan to be seen in a new role

Born in Howrah and brought up at Kolkata, actor Susovan Sonu Roy is soon making his big-screen debut. In the film ‘Take Care Bhalobasa’, he will be seen playing the role of ‘Joy’. The movie will present the story of four friends in a fresh way. Filming began on July 4.

Despite losing his father at the tender age of just three and a half, Sonu never gave up on his dreams. After completing his schooling and college education in Kolkata, he earned a B.Com degree from Dum Dum Motijheel Rabindra Mahavidyalaya. Alongside his studies, he learned Western dance and participated in several stage shows.

His acting journey began with a workshop by director Pijush Saha, where he trained for about one and a half years. In 2019, he got his first acting opportunity in the television serial Anandamoyee Maa on the channel Aakash Aath. Later, in 2020, he worked in serials like Mohor, Kora Pakhi, and Titli. In 2021, he appeared in Khelaghar.

After the lockdown, in 2023, he stepped into the world of modelling and worked with brands such as Holiday Inn Hotel, Big Bazaar, and Spencer’s. In 2024, during a workshop, he met director Soumojit Adak. Impressed by his talent and experience, the director auditioned him and cast him in the film.

With dreams of making a mark in acting, dancing, and modelling, Susovan Sonu Roy is moving forward with determination. His first step onto the big screen could prove to be a special experience for the audience.
